Outraged that corporate lobbyists are defending the right of employers to poison their own workers, worker safety advocates will deliver a crucial message to the blue suits at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce today: “Stop blocking OSHA’s new silica rule.” Silica dust is a widespread hazard in many industries, where exposure can be fatal. The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (National COSH) is sponsoring today’s demonstration at 12:15p at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
