Scholarships Available for Building Trades Kids

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With education costs skyrocketing, the annual Ashcraft & Gerel scholarship program is a chance for family members of DC building and construction trades workers to stay in school. The law firm's scholarship – a one-time grant of $5,000 to help cover a student’s education expenses – is given out in honor and memory of  Lee G. Ashcraft and his longtime dedication to the DC building and construction trades. Click here to download the application, which is due April 30.
