WTU to Train Teachers for the Spotlight

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)To train local teachers to speak out effectively for education, the Washington Teachers Union is launching “Teachers as Leaders.” This new project – set to start with a pilot program this spring – will feature training for local teachers on “the issues that affect our profession both here in the District of Columbia and nationally.” WTU is currently recruiting teachers for the program; click here to apply or contact LaWanda T.
