UP Scholarship Deadline January 31

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Time is running out to apply for this year’s Union Plus Scholarship Program: applications are due by midnight on Tuesday January 31. Union members and their children are eligible for scholarships ranging from $500 to $4,000 for study beginning in the fall of 2012. Since 1992, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $3.2 million to students in over 2,100 union families.
