Countdown to Occupy CPAC

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Plans for Friday's noontime and evening Occupy CPAC rallies include street theater, music, puppets, and a whole lot more. In addition to local turnout, buses will be bringing people from all over to ensure that 1%-ers like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Scott Walker hear the voices of the 99%. In addition to participating in Friday’s actions, Occupy DC -- which continues despite last Saturday's actions by the National Park Service -- is planning a Saturday march from Malcolm X Park to the conference at the Woodley Park Marriott, set to arrive just in time for the CPAC’s panel “Taking Back Wall Street: The Tea Party vs. Occupy Wall Street.” Check out Occupy CPAC on facebook and follow @DClabor on twitter for updates.
