Labor Photo: IATSE 22 Honors Benson

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)IATSE Local 22 dedicated the local’s meeting hall to former Pres. Brian X. Benson on February 11. Benson died in a motorcycle crash last June. Saying that Benson “executed his office faithfully” and  “promoted and followed the principles of Trade Unionism,” the union’s leadership and members also named Benson President Emeritus of Local 22 and a plaque was installed in the meeting hall.
