Workers to Rally Around "Second Bill of Rights"

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Seats are still available on the AFL-CIO’s free bus from DC to the “Workers Stand for America” Rally in Philadelphia, where thousands are expected to gather “to call public and media attention to how our politics, society and economy have been... geared almost entirely to the well-being of the richest while everyone else is left behind.” Over 3,800 activists from across the country have already signed “America’s Second Bill of Rights,” a call for economic justice to ensure a strong American future, which will be the focus of the August 11 rally.
