COPE Report: Now's The Time to Register to Vote

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With November’s general election just around the corner, union members across the country are spreading the word and getting out the vote. Registration deadlines vary from state to state, as do registration processes. In Maryland voters must register before October 16, while in Virginia the deadline is the 15th. In DC voters can register in-person on Election Day, as well as ahead of time.
