Free Hospitality Industry Job Training Available for Young PG County Workers

Prince
George’s County residents aged 18-24 can get
free training for jobs in the hospitality
industry, thanks to a grant from the Greater
Washington Workforce Development Collaborative
of the Community Foundation to the Community
Services Agency, The Training Source, and
Prince George’s Community College.
Applications are due by October 3.
“Participants will receive three
industry-recognized certifications, computer
and job readiness training, and help finding a
job in the hospitality industry,” says CSA
Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. Adding
that “We’re actively recruiting students
for this program,” McKirchy urges area locals
to help spread the word “by passing along
this story or posting it on your local’s
website or Facebook page.” For information on
