Thursday, September 6, 2012
(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)
Negotiations on the biggest
Free Trade Agreement in U.S. history are coming
to Leesburg this week. As the Trans-Pacific
Partnership (TPP) negotiations get under way in
northern Virginia, the Citizens Trade Campaign
is coordinating free buses to join with labor,
environmental, public health, family farm,
consumer, Occupy and other social justice
organizations for a major mobilization Sunday
demanding “an end to back-room dealmaking for
the 1%.” RSVP to reserve your seat on free
union-operated buses leaving Washington, DC or
to request information on carpooling from other
locations throughout the mid-Atlantic. Click
