DC Labor FilmFest Sneak Peeks

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With tickets to the upcoming DC Labor FilmFest going fast, fans are getting free sneak-peeks at this year’s line up through a labor film poster exhibit and FilmFest preview screenings. The DC Labor Film Poster Collection is on view now at the AFL-CIO (ground floor, across from the South elevators). The collection features posters from numerous labor films, including some from this year’s line up like “The Pajama Game,” “Office Space,” and "Billy Elliot." Yesterday the FilmFest lunchtime sneak-peek series kicked off with a screening of previews of this year’s films for AFGE Local 12 members at the Department of Labor.
