(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)AFSCME Local 2477 celebrated its’ 40th anniversary of representing workers at the Library of Congress  on Tuesday, September 25 with a luncheon, historical slide show and musical performances. Metro Washington Council President Jos Williams – who founded the local in 1972 – keynoted the event, and Librarian of Congress James H.
