AFGE 476 Helps Promote CSA at HUD During Combined Federal Campaign
Tuesday, October 23, 2012
(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The Community Services Agency’s fall campaign
got a big boost Wednesday when Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) Department
Assistant Deputy Secretary Patricia Hoban-Moore
introduced CSA at a HUD CFC kick-off event by
talking about her own good union experience
with the UAW in Detroit. The HUD event was
attended by 200 staff at HUD headquarters in DC
and was beamed out to all regional HUD offices
nationwide. “We have appreciated the support
CSA has given to some of our members in
need,” said AFGE 476 President Eddie Eitches,
who helped ensure that CSA was one of the three
agencies at the kick-off. “It’s a pleasure
to help promote giving to labor’s own agency,
the Community Services Agency,” Eitches
added. For info on the campaigns and how your
local can help promote CSA, contact Kathleen
