(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)“Phonebanking is so easy and fun,” exclaimed Rolene McKnight (at right), Metro Washington Council receptionist after Council staff did a shift on the AFL-CIO phonebank Thursday. “The predictive dialer software eliminates all the manual dialing and busy signals,” McKnight said, “so we get to talk to more union members about how President Obama supports the American middle class.
