Lerch Re-Elected President of NALC Branch 3825

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Ken Lerch, re-elected President of National
Association of Letter Carriers Branch 3825, was
sworn into office Wednesday night by Tim Dowdy,
NALC National Business Agent, Region 13. Lerch
pledged to keep Branch 3825 “in the forefront
of the fight to save the Postal Service for the
American people.” Metro Council President Jos
Williams hailed letter carriers as
“unrecognized first responders and the
indispensable thread that knits our community
together.” Community Services Agency
Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy thanked
Branch 3825 “for your creative way of turning
management grievance delays into funds for the
agency and for the recent donation of $11,000
reflecting management penalties.” photo:
