Library of Congress
management is up to its unionbusting tactics
again. Now the target is the confidentiality
and privacy rights of employees seeking
assistance from their union, reports the
Library of Congress Professional Guild, AFSCME
Local 2910, which represents the workers. After
a major
arbitration victory for workers in July,
LOC management is now trying to get around the
arbitration ruling and is demanding that the
union maintain records identifying workers who
seek union assistance.
