Smithfield Campaign Rolls On

Local activists will continue canvassing actions to highlight Smithfield's worker abuses this Friday at 5P at Rhode Island Ave METRO station. The actions are part of the Smithfield "Packaged with Abuse" campaign launched last Thursday (Smithfield "Packaged with Abuse" Campaign Launched in DC 6/20/08 UC) to get DC consumers to buy alternatives to Smithfield this summer.
