Kids Before Profits: Following
rallies last month in DC, Chicago, Boston and
Los Angeles (Protesters

Bain to Put Kids First campaign launched a
two-day national call-in campaign
on Wednesday to pressure Bain Capital officials
to commit to quality care and good working
conditions at Bright Horizons childcare
facilities. Bain - a public equity firm
notorious for buyouts that ended in layoffs,
closures, and bankruptcies - recently bought
out Bright Horizons and has already saddled the
childcare company with hundreds of millions of
dollars in debt. The call-in action continues
