Labor On The Move: Bruskin Moves To AFT

Longtime organizer Gene Bruskin – who most recently was working with the UFCW, including directing the successful Smithfield campaign in Tar Heel, NC – is moving over to the American Federation of Teachers, where he’ll be working on strategic campaigns as of February 2. Bruskin is co-convenor of US Labor Against the War (USLAW), a trade union-based anti-war campaign and is active in the campaign for single payer national healthcare.
