Teeing Off On AT&T

“Bargaining is not going well,” reports Communications Workers of America Local 2252 President Sean Linehan, telling Union City that “It is apparent that the only way we are going to get a good fair contract that provides for our members and their families is to put more pressure on AT&T.” The local is organizing a demo at AT&T’s golf tournament at the Congressional County Club - hosted by Tiger Woods - in Bethesda this Friday - the latest in a series of demonstrations pressuring AT&T to give workers a fair contract (Labor Community Raises The Bar On AT&T, 5/29/2009 UC).
