CSA's "News You Can Use": Free Financial Advice

If you’re looking for financial planning advice - and these days who isn’t? - Capital Area Asset Builders and DC Saves are kicking off a series of free workshops and clinics next week to help union members improve their personal and household finances. “This is an organization which has been out in the community helping working people build wealth,” says Community Services Agency Director Kathleen McKirchy. Ivory Johnson, who regularly appears on CNBC’s “On The Money,” will host the July 8 workshop on savings and retirement planning. Additionally, participants will be able to sign up for a free financial planning session with a Certified Financial Planner professional. “This will be a great workshop,” adds McKirchy.
