New Union Radio Program Launched

Solidarity News - a weekly labor news program presenting a half hour audiocast of international union news - was launched this week on RadioLabour's website. The new program will post up-to-date news every Monday and include "reports on workers' issues and events from around the world, with special emphasis on emerging markets and developing nations."  Solidarity News also has interactive features, such as enabling union members to call in events and activities and have them publicized on-air. Scripts of the audiocasts will also be available online. RadioLabour is the brainchild of Marc Belanger, founder of the online trade union network SoliNet.
