Hold Massey Energy Accountable!

Labor and community allies will hold a demonstration Thursday against Don Blankenship (r), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Massey Energy, whose company owns the Upper Big Branch Mine in West Virginia where 29 miners were killed on April 5th. “Massey had racked up a disgraceful history of safety violations even before this deadly explosion,” says the AFL-CIO. “Please come out and let him know that lives are more important than profits.” Email ammorris@aflcio.org for more information.
