AFGE FAA Local Joins Council

AFGE Local 2703 - which represents nearly 200 Aeronautical Information Specialists at the US Department of Transportation/ Federal Aviation Administration - is the latest Metro Washington Council affiliate. "We're very happy to become a part of the Metro Council," said Local 2703 President Ron Carberry. "Particularly, we see a great benefit to our members in having access to the Council's many programs, including the Community Services Agency and its ability to help workers who are struggling financially." The local has represented FAA workers since the early 1980s.
