"Unity Team" Wins 3-Year Term at UFCW 1994

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The UFCW Local 1994 MCGEO “Unity Team” – led by President Gino Renne -- swept nominations at Local 1994 in mid-June and were elected by acclamation to serve a three-year term beginning this December. "The new leadership team stands ready to continue to fight to defend the economic interests of our members and their families, to advocate for safe and fair workplaces and healthy and just communities," they said. Renne also serves as 1st Vice-President of the Metro Washington Council AFL-CIO. Also elected were Secretary-Treasurer Yvette Cuffie and Recorder Nelvin Ransome.
