(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Blasting Verizon's national ad
campaign calling for the elimination of 50
years of negotiated contracts, CWA President
Larry Cohen yesterday rallied over 300 “loud
and proud union members and their families”
yesterday at the Broad Run High School in
Ashburn VA, reports NOVA Labor President Dan
Duncan. Cohen “said this was clear battle to
save America's middle class,” adds Duncan.
Also speaking at the rally were CWA 2222
President Jim Hilleary, Virginia AFL-CIO
President Doris Crouse-Mays, and CWA Vice
