AFL-CIO HIT Wins CSA Golf Tourney

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With a 12 under par score, the AFL-CIO Housing

edged out the Tyrone Conard team (10 under;
Tyrone Conard, Steve Donovan, Curtis Sims &
Nate James) to take first place in Monday’s
16th annual Community Services Agency golf
tournament. SF&C Insurance took 3rd
place
with 8 under par (Sean Jones, Mel Ruzicka,
Chris Ehrhardt & Justin Thomas). Winners of
the longest drive prize were Chuck Graham (IBEW
26) and Lesyllee White (AFL-CIO HIT) and
Closest to Pin: Tim Jeffery (IAFF/United
Healthcare). Twenty-five teams participated in
the tournament, raising thousands of dollars
for CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund. "Special
thanks to newcomers IAFF Local 36, who golfed a
stellar game with the United Healthcare team,"
said CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy.
