CREA Local 75 Latest Council Affiliate

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Congressional Research Employees Association (CREA) Local 75 is the latest affiliate of the Metro Washington Council, AFL-CIO. CREA members include analysts, attorneys, bibliographers, clerical staff, technical staff, librarians and library technicians who work at the Congressional Research Service (CRS) to produce unbiased research and reporting for politicians and organizations. The union  has represented CRS workers since 1976. Local 75 affiliated with the Council because “we believe in the idea that a harm to one is a harm to all,” President Dennis Roth told Union City. “We believe in what the Council stands for.” Click here to learn more about CREA.
