On The Line Tomorrow: Assault on the NLRB & Solidarity with UK Strikers

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The unprecedented assault on the National Labor Relations Board is the topic of a forum tomorrow morning at the AFL-CIO. Senator Tom Harkin, Representative George Miller, and a panel of organizers and academics will discuss this “how corporate interests are trying to eliminate the rights and protections that ensure the 99 percent a fair shake in the workplace—and what we can do to push back.” The at noon, National Nurses United (NNU) rallies at the British Embassy in solidarity with the “more than three million embattled British nurses and other public employees [who] will be on strike November 30 to protest attacks by the British government on pensions and retirement security.”
