Teamsters History Tour

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)DC Labor Walk is offering a special opportunity to get a guided tour of the new historical exhibits at the Teamsters headquarters building, while supporting the Metro Council’s Community Services Agency. Highlights of the December 15 1-hour tour include the new lobby frieze depicting Teamsters through the years, fascinating artifacts and stories from the union’s history. Proceeds benefit CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund, which aids area working families in need. Each participant will also receive a copy of the 104-page “Teamsters Snapshots in Time” glossy coffee-table book, as well as a Teamster’s history DVD.
