This Just In: Occupy DC to Start Hunger Strike

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Occupy DC will start a hunger strike at noon today demanding voting rights for DC. Occupiers Adrian Parsons, Sam Jewler, and Kelly Meers say they will sustain their hunger strike until Congress and the President take action to grant DC full voting representation in Congress and to free DC from Congressional control over the District government's budget and legislation.
