(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Billy Elliot
the Musical – based on the 2000 labor
fave film Billy Elliot – is coming to
town for a series of holiday performances. The

discovers an extraordinary talent for dance,
which he pursues in secret to avoid the
disapproval of his family and community. In the
end, he ends up inspiring them instead, and his
life changes forever. Based on the
internationally acclaimed film, Billy Elliot the
Musical is brought to life by a
phenomenal cast of 45 performers and the Tony
