Teamsters History Tour Benefits CSA

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Find out how the horses on the Teamster logo got their names and lots of other fascinating Teamster labor history at Thursday’s guided tour of the new historical exhibits at the Teamsters headquarters building. Teamster historian Karin Jones leads the 1-hour tour from 5:15-6:15, which is sponsored by DC Labor Walk; proceeds support the Metro Council’s Community Services Agency’s Emergency Assistance Fund. Each tour participant will also receive a copy of the 104-page “Teamsters Snapshots in Time” glossy coffee-table book of Teamster history photos, as well as a Teamster’s history DVD.
