The American Federation of Government Employees’ (AFGE) National President John Gage will be featured this week on AFGE’s radio program “Inside Government”. Gage will talk about AFGE’s new ad campaign aimed at raising awareness for the needs of veterans returning home from war, as well as the importance of fully funding the Department of Veterans Affairs. Also get a preview of “Labor 2008” from AFGE Political Coordinator Bob Nicklas, who will discuss the nationwide labor health walks starting May 17. Jacque Simon, AFGE public policy director, will provide an inside look at the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program, and ways the program can be improved to better serve federal employees.
