AFL-CIO Organizing Training  

The AFL-CIO Organizing Institute holds a three-day training to give activists basic organizing skills. The training will cover one-on-one communication skills, how to move workers to take action, leadership identification, and basic elements of a union organizing campaign. All AFL-CIO affiliated unions and unaffiliated unions are welcomed to send members to this training. 

The cost to an affiliate for sponsoring a member is $100 per participant.  This will cover meals and training materials only. Any costs for hotel overnight stays, parking or getting the participants to the training, whether local or out of area, are the responsibility of the sponsoring union.
