That was music by locked-out Baltimore Symphony Orchestra musicians playing at Tuesday night’s Bread and Roses fundraiser concert at the Takoma Busboys and Poets. Percussionist Brian Prechtl told the packed audience that talks are underway with BSO management and he’s hopeful that a settlement will come soon. Meanwhile, picketing continues today outside the BSO in Baltimore, starting at 8:30 this morning.
