Members of NABET-CWA Local 31 have won one of the largest back pay settlements in the 84-year history of the National Labor Relations Board. The settlement negotiated by NABET-CWA and its locals in both DC and
New York City, requires CNN America to pay a total of $76 million dollars to hundreds of broadcast technicians who were fired in 2004 when CNN terminated its subcontract with union-represented employees at Team Video Services.
