The Brookings Institution and staff union reach first agreement The Brookings Institution and Brookings United, its staff union, are proud to announce that they have reached an initial one-year agreement governing certain terms and conditions of employment. This is the first time in Brookings’ 107-year history that such an agreement has been reached.
