TODAY: Tell DC Council to side with workers, not wealth

Today the DC Council will take their first vote on next year's budget. Right now, the draft budget would slash funding for the DC Healthcare Alliance and interfere in Initiative 82. There are two ways you can help fight these proposals.

First, rally today with UNITE HERE Local 25, UNITE HERE Local 23, and allies starting at 9 AM at the Wilson Building.

Second, send a letter to the Council telling them to side with workers and leave Initiative 82 as it is.
