Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate have proposed a job-killing tax plan that favors the super-rich and wealthy corporations over working people.
"We cannot afford to let this bill become law," says the AFL-CIO, which urges calls to your senator today at 844-899-9913. Under this plan, millions of working people would pay more, while the super-rich and Wall Street would make out like bandits. The richest point 1% -- not 1%, point one percent -- would get an average tax cut of more than $208,000. The bill also includes job-killing tax breaks for outsourcing, cuts to infrastructure and education, and to top it off, working people would lose health care. Call 844-899-9913 to tell your senator that working people can't afford this tax bill.
