Dolly Parton's song "9 to 5" hit number one on the record charts on this date in 1981; here’s a funky cover by Love Raptor. We are eager to get a new contract, but we need that contract to provide the things we have earned through our hard work: wages we can live on, schedules we can depend on, healthcare we can afford, and a retirement we can count on. We will not be rushed into a bad deal.” More negotiations are scheduled for this week. |
