Building Futures Students Dress for Success

The Cement Masons union workshop was transformed into a fashion runway recently for ten Building Futures students who modeled new-to-them business suits from A Wider Circle’s mobile clothing closet. “Building Futures is grateful to A Wider Circle, who not only pulled fabulous, professional clothes out of that big white van, but also respect, hope, and encouragement for our Building Futures students,” said Jennifer Gajdosik. Pride at Work to Hold LGBT Labor Leadership Training

Pride at Work is launching its newly revised training program at the upcoming LGBT Labor Leadership Training  April 17-18 in Washington, DC. The agenda includes "LGBTQ 101, Getting comfortable with appropriate terminology," "LGBTQ and Labor — A Shared History" and much more. Participants must be Pride at Work members (LGBT and union allies are welcome to become members and attend), and participants must commit to working with a local [email protected] chapter.
