She’s been working for the federal government for eight years, first joining the rest of her family in the Smithsonian Institution and then transferring to the National Gallery of Art. With the holidays just weeks away, eight local families are still awaiting adoption in the Community Services Agency’s Holiday Family Basket program. Eight families have been selected by donors to receive holiday gifts, and another eight families are on the waiting list.
