The Metro Washington Labor Council AFL-CIO yesterday applauded the efforts of the Moore-Miller transition team to include representatives of working families in Maryland. “We are excited that Governor-Elect Wes Moore and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Aruna Miller are putting representatives of working Marylanders in these critical roles,” said MWC President Dyana Forester, “It shows their commitment to making working families a priority in their administration. We are excited that working people from a broad range of industries and throughout the state have been appointed to key committees. We know this is an administration that is going to be ready from Day One to do what it takes to support working families. "Are you sure about the Toussaint quote? (“An agreement will never ever, ever, ever be resolved by fear and intimidation.” 12/20 UC)," asks Dave Richardson. "It doesn't look right to me." "Quote correct," confirms Roger Toussaint (former president of TWU Local 100 and a UC reader). "Can’t recall if I used 3 'ever's though." |
