Jews United for Justice reminds us that if you – or your child – are sick, stay home! The JUFJ community fought hard alongside allies for people's right to stay home — WITH PAY — when they are sick or when they need to care for a sick family member. If you work in DC or Maryland, paid sick days are required by law, so Jews United For Justice urges you to take advantage of the law and care for yourself at the first sign of illness. You can also help protect public health in our region by reminding others in your community that DC and Maryland employers are required to provide paid sick days to all workers.
