 Area labor activists will help shape this year's DC LaborFest next Tuesday night at the January 17Bread and Roses gathering at the Takoma Busboys and Poets. RSVP here. The free program, which begins at 6p, includes labor film previews, David Fernandez-Barrial on “Digging Where We Stand: Uncovering Our Own Local Labor Histories," Gene Bruskin on "Workers in Motion-Stories from the Field," Candace Wolf with the story of a striking worker at the Stella D’Oro cookie factory in the Bronx.
