The AFL-CIO is hosting a Criminal Justice Reform Training this Thursday for interns in the DC area. "The labor movement has taken a strong stance for reforming our criminal justice system, and we're implementing this training for any intern in the DC area who may be interested," says Danielle Soba, AFL-CIO Civil, Human, and Women’s Rights Department intern. "This is a training led by interns, for interns and we'd love for interns to come and meet other activist-minded interns and learn about the Criminal Justice System and its' impacts on workers, communities of color, and impoverished neighborhoods." She notes that "This is also a great opportunity to meet and network with other summer interns in the area." RSVP here. Breakfast will be served at 8:30a, and the training will start promptly at 9a and last roughly 4.5 hours. Comments are closed.
