Americans buy nearly 20 billion new items of clothing annually, yet few of us know how our clothes are made, much less who produces them. “Cotton Road” -- screening free tonight at the Takoma Park Busboys & Poets -- explores the grim realities of the global supply chain from South Carolina farms to Chinese factories. The free screening starts at 6p; post-film Q&A with Abby McGill, Campaigns Director at the International Labor Rights Forum, where she coordinates the Cotton Campaign.
