 Thirty area workers at Frontier Communications, members of CWA 2222, have joined their 1,400 co-workers in West Virginia who went out on strike over the weekend for job rights and job security. A picket line is up Mon-Thu from 6a to noon in Ashburn, VA (see Calendar or click here for details). The contract at Frontier expired last Saturday night at midnight. “Please come out to their picket line to show your solidarity!” urges NoVA Labor president Ginny Diamond.
