![]() Amy Gellatly and Sarah Cheshire have joined the Employment Justice Center. Gellatly (far left) coordinates the EJC’s expansion into Maryland, with a focus on enforcing Maryland’s new Lien for Unpaid Wages law, and Cheshire is an AVODAH Community Outreach Fellow. Before becoming an attorney, Gellatly worked on union organizing campaigns in retail and meatpacking with the UFCW. She graduated from the University of North Carolina and American University’s Washington College of Law. Cheshire recently graduated from Oberlin College, where she was very involved in grassroots student organizing and community service, and led alternative fall break trips to central West Virginia, exploring the relationship between environmentalism, economic justice, and Appalachian culture.
